Dr. Parzefall teaches Composition, Professional/Technical Writing, and selected Graduate courses at Western Illinois Univeristy. Her research interests originate at the intersection of writing and language. Her latest project examined the resettlement experiences of Afghan women refugees and the impact on their identities. Outside of academia, she enjoys hiking, running, playing tennis, and traveling.
