On Jan. 29, at 10:40 p.m.Yanniah Gant 20, of Harvey, IL, was issued a notice to appear Feb. 26 for a Macomb city ordinance violation of battery in the University Union.

On Jan. 30, at 1:09 a.m., OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Olson Hall. No smoke or fire were found and no injuries were reported.
