On Sept. 12 at 12:48 a.m., George Frost, 26, of 327 N. Clay St., was issued a notice to appear Sept. 30 for a state violation of driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Western Avenue and Riverview Drive. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 2:55 a.m. where he was processed and released.

On Sept. 12 at 7:08 a.m., a WIU employee reported the theft of two light poles, valued at $2,500, from the Heating Plant. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 12 at 6:05 p.m., a student reported the theft of a desk fan and snacks, valued at $70, from their room in Thompson Hall. The incident is under investigation.

On Sept. 13 at 2:57 a.m., two students were judicially referred at the intersection of Pierce and Albert streets for alcohol.

On Sept. 14 at 1:10 a.m., non-student Xavier Campbell, 26, of 240 Jamestown Rd., was issued a notice to appear Sept. 30 for a state violation of driving under the influence of alcohol on West University Drive. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 3:18 a.m. where he was processed and released.
