Greg Montalvo, Ph.D.

About Me

Greg Montalvo is a Professor of Educational Psychology in the School of Education.  He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of learning and instruction, achievement motivation, human development, assessment of student learning, and methods of research.  He earned his PhD in Instructional Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, and his primary work involves the instructional application of learning and motivation principles.  Dr. Montalvo previously served as the Assistant Dean for Educator Preparation at WIU and Interim Chair of the Department of Educational Studies.
