WIU English Department's Harry Potter Summer Program

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University's Department of English will sponsor a summer program for students grades 5-7. The program will be based around exploring J.K. Rowling's novel, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secret, which will take place June 27-30.
Students can expand their enjoyment of the Harry Potter series while at the same time gaining valuable skills in literature, writing, science and art. The faculty will include members of WIU's departments of English and chemistry, as well as local artists.
Enrollment is limited to 24 students on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee is $275 and parents wishing to use a payment plan may send a $100 deposit at the time of registration. Fifty percent of the fee is due 60 days prior to the program, and full payment is due 30 days prior.
