The University Writing Center Hours For Spring '25

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - The University Writing Center (UWC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce its Spring 2025 schedule and expanded services to support students throughout the writing process. Whether students need help brainstorming, drafting, revising, or polishing their papers, the UWC is here to assist in a variety of formats to best meet their needs.

Appointments are available in person, online and through eTutoring for asynchronous feedback. The UWC serves students at all stages of writing, offering support for essays, research papers, personal statements and more.

Spring 2025 UWC Hours
3rd Floor, Malpass Library (Macomb Campus)
Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Quad Cities In-Person Hours (Riverfront 205)
Monday: 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. – noon

Students can schedule an appointment via the UWC online scheduling system at wiu.mywconline.com or by calling (309) 298-2814.
