WIU Math Club Hosting First Speaker of the Semester

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Math Club invites students to join the presentation by speaker Abdul Latif from 3-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 in Morgan Hall 224.

From the Department of Mathematics and Philosophy, the WIU Math Club will be hosting a presentation featuring the first speaker of the semester Abdul Latiff, a graduate student in biological sciences.

Latiff will present, "Therapeutic Potential of Plantain Peels: Phytochemical Composition and Antidiabetic & Antilipidemic Activity in Sprague-Dawley Rats." Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer session.

The WIU Math Club welcomes anyone interested in participating. There will be refreshments during the event.
