Wheeler Named COAP EOM For January

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL— Western Illinois University academic advisor Kenny Wheeler, who works on the Quad Cities campus, has been named the Council of Administrative Personnel (COAP) Employee of the Month for January.

"Kenny has constantly gone above and beyond these past few semesters on my behalf. He has assisted me in course choices and helped me in areas that did not fall under his job description," his nominator said.

Kenny advises the following programs; English, General Studies, Psychology - Quad Cities students and Psychology freshman and sophomores - Macomb, Online and Quad Cities.

The COAP Employee of the Month award acknowledges exceptional performance by WIU employees who go above and beyond their regular duties, based on specific criteria. Nominations can come from supervisors, colleagues, faculty, students, staff or community members. The monthly winners receive a reserved parking space for one month and recognition from the University.
