WIU Athletics to Host Second Annual Hotcakes for Heroes Feb. 15

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Athletics will host the second annual Hotcakes for Heroes fundraiser from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, in the East Arena of Western Hall. This special event precedes the WIU Women's Basketball game against Morehead State at 11 a.m., followed by the Men's Basketball matchup at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets for the fundraiser are available at the door or in advance, with two purchasing options:

$10 – Includes pancakes and a ticket to both basketball games
$5 – Pancakes only

All proceeds from Hotcakes for Heroes will help sponsor two military veterans to attend the OVC Basketball Championship Tournament in Evansville, IN, from March 5-8.

Those unable to attend but wishing to contribute can donate online here.
