WIU School of Music Presents Concert Band Concert

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Music presents a Concert Band Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The concert will feature the WIU Concert Band directed by Professor Matt Thomas and led by graduate students Adrian Lowry and Chris Jenkins and the Abingdon-Avon High School Band directed by WIU alumna Hannah Murray.

The program will include:

Into the Blue (2018) - Cait Nishimura (b. 1991)
Amparito Roca (1925) - Jamie Texidor/arr. James Curnow (b. 1943)
Closure (2020) - Tyler Mazone (b. 1998)
Kinetic Dances (2014) - Randall Standridge (b. 1976)
