Catherine Buley Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University employee Catherine Diane Buley, 56, of Prairie City, passed away May 30 at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Buley worked with Sodexo at WIU for 25 years and was serving as a baker in the Corbin/Olson Dining Hall for the past seven years.
Known for her fun-loving spirit, Buley cherished her family, friends and coworkers. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved Shiba Inu companions, whom she cared for with great devotion.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her maternal grandparents, Henry and Kate Serven; and her paternal grandparents, Jesse and Rosalie Buley.
A celebration of Buley's life is being planned for a later date.
