UUB and IHC to Host a Hypnotist & Comedy Show Aug. 24

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Union Board (UUB) and the Inter-Hall Council (IHC) will host a Hypnotist & Comedy Show from 8:30-10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 in the Grand Ballroom.

The show will feature Josh McVicar, "The Trickster," a master hypnotist, comedy showman and both close-up and stage magician. He is a member of the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) and performs magic and hypnosis for thousands of college students across the country.

The Hypnotist Show "Fun and Hilarious" is part of the Purple & Gold Points Program, which encourages student involvement across campus. Participants will earn 25 points for attending, which can later be redeemed for prizes through the Office of Student Engagement (OSE). Purple & Gold Points are awarded for verified participation in academic, service, wellness and social programs throughout the academic year.
