Richard Crockett Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - Former Western Illinois University Professor Richard Crockett, 89, of Monmouth, passed away on July 20.
Crockett taught political science at WIU for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2003. He previously worked as an editor at Scott Forsman Publishing and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Jean Crockett; his son, Jeffrey Jon (Laurie Jeanne) Crockett of Jordanville, NY; three grandchildren, Victoria (Kevin) Burr of Ballston Spa, NY, James Crockett and Dorothy Crockett, both of Jordanville; three great grandchildren, Clara Burr, Fiona Burr and Edith Burr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
