Anthony "Tony" Bowling Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - Former Western Illinois University employee Anthony "Tony" Bowling, 64, of Cameron, passed away July 26 at his home.
A 1988 WIU graduate, Bowling retired in 2022 while working as a registered nurse at the Beu Medical Center. Before his time at WIU, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Hull Maintenance Technician Petty Officer Second Class aboard the USS Albany and the USS Enterprise.
Bowling is survived by his wife, Paula Bowling; two daughters, Sheila Bowling and Danielle Bowling; two brothers, Russell Bowling, Tim (Cheryl) Schnicker; three sisters, Jennifer (Dean) Modaff, Robin Scanlan, Angela (Paul) Hauck; sister-in-law, Julie Carlson; brother-in-law, David Danforth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, great-grandmother; mother-in-law, Sheila Danforth; brother-in-law, Brad Scanlan; nephew, McHale Gerald; and cousin, Sally Christianson.
