WIU Alumni Association to Host Golf Outing

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Alumni Association will host the "Suzi Stambaugh Miner Memorial - Macomb Alumni & Friends Golf Outing" at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at the WIU Harry Mussatto Golf Course.

The golf outing is a four-person 18-hole scramble. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the shotgun start is scheduled at 10 a.m. The event prices are:


  • 18 holes of golf, drink ticket, to-go lunch box, cash bar - $60/person

  • Non-Golfers to-go lunch box - $10/person


General flag sponsorships for the outing are available for $100, which includes a flag with a choice of signage and/or logo (yours to keep after the outing). Flag text and graphics will be finalized upon signup.

"This event gives our community a fun opportunity to celebrate Western Illinois University on the Harry Mussatto Golf Course, raise funds for student scholarships and honor the memory of a woman who served the Alumni Program Office for 12 years," Jim Miner, Suzi's husband, said.

Proceeds to benefit the Suzi Stambaugh Miner Alumni Association Scholarship.
