WIU-QC to Host Fall 2025 Tailgate Sept. 5

MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will host a WIU pregame tailgate and football game watch party on Friday, Sept. 5, at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities located at 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL.

The tailgating event will begin at 4 p.m. in the University Drive West Parking Lot and will feature music and yard games. At 6:30 p.m. we will march across campus to the Riverfront Atrium to watch a live stream of the WIU Leathernecks football game as they battle Northwestern University. All attendees are encouraged to bring their own cookout gear, food and tailgating favorites. No alcohol will be allowed at the event.

The tailgate and watch party is free and open to the WIU community.
