MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University African Student Association (ASA) invites you to join them for a Thanksgiving service from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, in the Newman Center.

This service is for Joy Okolie, a WIU student in the Public Health graduate program, who recently gave birth to twins after a life-threatening health crisis. This event aims to celebrate her recovery and raise funds to support her family. The ASA encourages people to gather in fellowship at this candle light vigil.

Everyone is welcome to attend. For those unable to physically attend this event, there is a zoom link: https://wiu.zoom.us/j/8940484004?omn=94871618712. The ASA has created an account for Joy and will be displayed during the event for anyone who is willing to donate.

Those interested in attending, can contact oo-babalola@wiu.edu for more information.
