MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University is inviting students to take part in one of its most spirited and long-standing traditions, Homecoming! Applications to join the Homecoming 2026 Committee are officially open now through Friday, Nov. 7, and are available on Leatherneck Link.

Students selected will help plan and execute one of the University's most anticipated celebrations, working to create a week filled with tradition, pride and Leatherneck spirit.

Committee members will gain hands-on experience in leadership, teamwork and event planning while collaborating with students, faculty, alumni and community partners.

Joining the committee will come with benefits such as developing leadership and organizational skills, as well as building strong connections across campus and the community. This is a great way to showcase your Leatherneck pride and help to plan fun and meaningful Homecoming traditions.

Students interested in applying can visit tinyurl.com/wiuhoco26 to complete the Homecoming 2026 Committee Application before Nov. 7.
