The Connect

The Connect is a shuttle service that runs in a loop between the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront Campus  and Centre Station in downtown Moline.

Unlimited Ride Program

WIU has partnered with Metro to provide unlimited access to the entire Metro system with a WIU ID. Simply show the operator your WIU ID each time you board, and that’s it – no fare required. For more information on Metro routes and schedules, visit www.gogreenmetro.com or stop by the Metro Kiosk located in the lobby of the Riverfront Campus.

MetroLINK

The Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District (MetroLINK) serves the Illinois Quad Cities and its neighboring areas: Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Milan, Silvis, Carbon Cliff, Hampton and Colona. Greyhound service is also provided from the MetroLINK offices.

CitiBus

Davenport provides 19 buses, along 12 routes. These buses serve major residential and commercial corridors throughout the city and carry about one million passengers each year.

Bettendorf Transit

The City of Bettendorf's Transit System operates four bus routes within the City limits.

Parking

We are no longer using physical hangtags, your vehicles license plate is your permit.

Faculty, staff and students, visit the Office of Public Safety Parking page for information on obtaining your permit.

Guest Parking Information

All guests and visitors to WIU-Quad Cities may park in designated guest parking spots for up to 30 minutes.

If you intend to be on campus for longer than 30 minutes, please visit one of the reception desks located in Riverfront Hall or Quad Cities Complex to obtain a guest parking permit to park on campus.

Guests with permits may park in the 34th Street lot or the University Drive West lot. The University Drive East lot is limited to WIU Faculty and Staff.

Guests attending events on campus may also park in spots identified by blue lines at the far west end of the University Drive West lot.

Channel Cat Water Taxi

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, passengers can explore the majestic Mississippi, aboard the Channel Cat Water Taxi. The Channel Cat provides hourly service from four docks along the river, enabling travel along and between both sides of the Mississippi.
