- Description: The Department of Art & Design is excited to present its April 2026 First Wednesday event on Wednesday, April 1st from 7-9 p.m. in Garwood Hall, the Heating Plant Annex, and the University Art Gallery.

• "The Artful Egg: An Art Historical Scavenger Hunt - with prizes! - Professor Sherry Lindquist, Garwood 10
• Flowers + Birds (bring your own clothing)- Professor Susan Czechowski, Garwood 11
• Easter Eggs Deco - Professor Ta-Teh Ku, Garwood 24
• Watercolor Painting + Organic Forms- Professor Damon McArthur, Garwood 25
Heating Plant Annex
• "Tree of Life" Decorations - Professor Kat Myers, HPA 107
• Seed Bombs - Professor Ian Shelly, HPA 111
The University Art Gallery will also be open during the event with two exhibitions:

Christine Knize – Orchidelirium
This event is free and open to the public, and all visitors are welcome!
*Please note that the Garwood Hall elevator is currently out of order so attendees will be required to climb stairs to participate in the Garwood Hall activities.
