When possible, the university purchases multiple site-licenses or copies of software to support the academic mission of the university.

Free Software

  • Office 365
    Faculty and staff can use Microsoft Office 365 at no cost while they are an active employee.   
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
    Faculty and staff can use any of the 20+ Adobe Creative Cloud applications at no cost while they are an active employee.   

Discounted Software

  • Journey Ed
    Discounted software and supplies.  Available to faculty, staff and students of WIU.
  • Microsoft Home Use Program
    Discounted Microsoft Office subscriptions.  Available only to faculty & staff, including graduate/teaching assistants, who are under contract with WIU.
